Vehicle wraps aren’t meant to be installed and forgotten. Like the rest of your vehicle, your vehicle wrap requires regular cleaning and maintenance. For longer-lasting, vibrant color, wash your wrap on a regular basis and keep your vehicle away from possible pollutants.

Here are answers to some common questions customers have about cleaning vehicle wraps.

What is a vehicle wrap?
A vehicle wrap is a large vinyl sticker that “wraps” around a vehicle. It is the single most cost effective form of outdoor advertising with an average of 70,000 impressions per day* (american trucking association). Wraps are printed on a unique form of vinyl then laminated to protect the vinyl as well as making the wrap look like paint.
Does the color of my vehicle matter?
Not really. We can wrap pretty much everywhere there is paint on the exterior of the car and we can try and match the color of any car if need be with the understanding that ink and paint will not always be an exact match.
How often should I wash my vehicle wrap?

Just as often as you would your non-wrapped vehicle. Regular washing of your vehicle’s paint helps remove debris and any corrosive elements that could be detrimental to its integrity. If you live in Southwest Florida many recommend that you should wash your vehicle (wrapped or not) once a week or at least every two weeks since we are constantly surrounded by salt from the Gulf of Mexico.

Can I Park my Vehicle Outdoors for Long Periods?
Excessive amounts of time under the sun or other outdoor elements (rain, smog, debris and road pollutants from passing cars) can degrade the wrap on the roof, trunk lid and hood. These horizontal areas are a magnet for pollutants, which are intensified by UV ray exposure. Try your best to park your car in a garage or under a canopy or shelter. If you must park it outside for prolonged periods, look for shady parking areas.
How does a vehicle wrap affect the paint?
Vehicle wraps when installed by a professional installer will act as a protectant for the paint and can be completely removed without harm if the paint is original and not oxidized or chipped. We recommend replacing your wrap at least every 5 years.

Also note:  That we can not be held liable for any paint related issues you may currently have but have not yet detected.

How long do vehicle wraps last?
A general rule of thumb is 3-5 years, however, there is no guarantee. Our manufacturer’s warranty the vinyl for 3 years.
How effective is a vehicle wrap?
Studies have been conducted and results have shown a vehicle wrap can get 8.3 million views (impressions) per year in a city with a population of 50,000.
Will a vehicle wrap be more cost effective then advertising in traditional printed products like postcard mailing, newspapers, etc.?
Combine the amount of advertising dollars your company spends each year. Compare that cost to a vehicle wrap with a lifespan between 3-5 years and will be seen by millions over that period of time. Most advertsing material gets seen once and finds its way to the trash soon after. A car wrap which is seen by a spectator may get seen by that same spectator several times making your advertising dollars more effective. A vehicle wraps also promotes credibility and longevity in the eyes of your clients.

How much does a vehicle wrap cost?
We use a specific algorithm to determine the cost of a vehicle wrap. Typically we take the amount of sq. ft. of the total wrap and multiply that times how difficult the installation will be. There are a few other factors that determine the cost such as, adding window perforation, material used and removing prior graphics on the car. For this reason we must provide a custom quote on every potential vehicle wrap.
